Last week of school: Day 4 D-Day

Everyone was in a good mood this morning naturally.  Gabe was telling me last night he was a little sad and excited at the same time.

Well, nothing special for Jessica -- she still sees her work looming before her, but math will be slowing down. Basically we've already gone farther than where she'd start in the fall; but Jeannie suggested we continue to work during the summer to keep it fresh in her mind.  So I'm scaling it back to maybe 1-2 lessons a week.  English we will have a ways to go ... but I'm trying to be relaxed about it and we're going to learn to sew this summer which she is very excited about.

Last day of elementary school for Gabe.
Susannah is happy about being a safety patroller.  Think she's on the flag detail.

I actually caught a picture of him smiling.

I allow them to wear flip flops on the last day -- school dress code says no flops but I allow them the last day.  It's funny how something like they is such a big deal.  They talk about it for a week in advance getting to wear flip flops.

Jessica showing off that she gets to wear slippers anytime she wants.

More last day of school shenanigans coming later ....
